If you can’t find your recordings, the most common reason is that they are stored locally and are no longer available on the device or in the location you expected.
Common reasons
- the app was deleted and reinstalled
- you changed devices
- you are looking in the wrong location
- on Android, the recording was created before or after the storage change in version 3.8.9
On iPhone and iPad
Check the Files app:
- Open Files.
- Tap Browse.
- Open On My iPhone or On My iPad.
- Open the Drum Pads 24 folder.
- Look in the Records folder.
On Android
Check whether the recording is old or new:
- recordings created before version 3.8.9 may still be in the Drum Pads 24 records directory in your file manager
- recordings created since version 3.8.9 are stored in the app’s internal storage and should be accessed from the app itself
Important notes
- If you uninstall the app, local data may be removed from the device.
- Logging in on another device does not automatically restore local recordings.
- recordings are stored locally on the device where they were created

- whether the app was reinstalled
- your app version
- whether the recording is old or new on Android
