Audio Editor stores your files locally on your device.
This means:
- your files are not automatically stored on our servers
- your files do not automatically sync across devices
- if the app is deleted, local files may also be deleted
What happens if I delete the app?
If you delete Audio Editor from your device, the app’s local files may be removed as well.
Can deleted files be recovered?
In general, files that were stored only inside the app cannot be recovered through Audio Editor after they are deleted or lost.
If you deleted the app and your files are gone, recovery may only be possible from your own device backup, if one exists.
Will my files sync across devices?
No. Using the app on another device does not automatically restore local files from your previous device.
Why are my files missing after reinstalling the app?
If you reinstalled the app, the local files that were stored inside it may no longer be available. This is expected when app data is removed from the device.
How to avoid losing important files
To reduce the risk of losing important files:
- regularly export or share important files to your own storage
- save copies in cloud storage, email, or another safe location
- keep regular device backups if possible
Important note
For privacy and security, Audio Editor stores files locally on your device. Because of this, support does not have access to your files and cannot restore them from a server.
