What happens if I delete a custom sound pack?

Custom sound packs you create are saved locally on your device.

If you delete a sound pack that was never shared, it may be removed permanently and cannot be restored.

If you previously shared the sound pack to the Feed, you may be able to download it again later.

If you cannot delete a sound pack, make sure it is not currently open in the app. Try opening a different sound pack first, then delete it again.

How to avoid losing your sound packs

Custom sound packs are stored locally on your device. If you want to keep access to them later, you need to share them privately by link or publish them to the Feed. This will make it possible to download them again on another device later.

Best practice

If you want to keep important custom sound packs, make sure you back up your device and keep copies of important files where possible.

Important notes

  • Custom sound packs are local files.
  • They do not automatically transfer to another device.
  • Logging in with the same account does not automatically restore local sound packs on another device.
  • If you delete and reinstall the app, local sound packs may be removed.
