Subscriptions renew automatically unless they are canceled before the renewal date.

How renewal works

  • your subscription renews at the end of the current billing period
  • billing periods may be weekly, monthly, yearly, or another plan length shown at the time of purchase
  • if you started with a free trial, the paid subscription usually begins automatically when the trial ends unless canceled before that date
  • deleting the app does not cancel the subscription

How to check your renewal date on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select the subscription to view its renewal details.

How to check your renewal date on Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Tap Subscriptions.
  5. Select the subscription to view its billing details.

How to check your renewal date on Mac

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Click your name or the sign-in button.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage.
  5. Select the subscription to view its renewal details.

Important notes

  • To avoid the next charge, cancel the subscription before the renewal date.
  • If there is no cancel option, the subscription may already be canceled.
  • Renewal timing and billing are managed by Apple or Google, depending on where the subscription was purchased.
