Custom sound packs are stored locally on your device. They do not automatically transfer to a new device just by logging in with the same account.

There are two main ways to move your custom sound packs to another device.

Recommended method: share through the app

The easiest way to move a custom sound pack to another device is to share it from the app first, then download it on the new device.

On your old device

  1. Open your custom sound packs list.
  2. Find the sound pack you want to transfer.
  3. Tap the ... menu.
  4. Choose Share to publish it publicly to Feed or as private link

After sharing, the sound pack can be downloaded again later using the link of that post.

On your new device

  1. Open Drum Pads 24.
  2. Log in with your account.
  3. Find the sound pack you shared (you may use the direct link to the shared post).
  4. Download it to the new device.

Manual transfer

You may also be able to transfer custom sound pack files manually, but this is more advanced and may not work on all devices.

iPhone and iPad

On Apple devices, Drum Pads 24 files can be accessed in:

  • FilesBrowseOn My iPhone or On My iPadDrum Pads 24

Android

On Android, access to app files outside the app may be limited or unavailable depending on the Android version and device storage restrictions.

Because of this, manual transfer is not always possible on Android. In most cases, sharing the sound pack through the app is the better option.

Important notes

  • Logging in with the same account does not automatically restore local custom sound packs.
  • If you want to keep access to a sound pack on another device, sharing it privately or publicly is the most reliable option.
  • Library sound packs need to be downloaded again on the new device.
