You can share a custom sound pack in Drum Pads 24 either as private post or as public post,

  1. Private sharing: Private sharing lets you send a direct link to your sound pack. Only people with the link can access it.

  2. Public sharing: Public sharing lets you publish your sound pack to the Feed, where other users can discover and download it.

When creating a Feed post, you can add:

  • text for the post
  • a cover image
  • an audio preview (a recording created with the sound pack in the app)
  • a video preview (can be added using a YouTube link)

Before sharing

Before sharing a custom sound pack, you must confirm in the app that:

  • you hold the rights to all sounds in the sound pack, because they were created by you or are properly licensed
  • you agree to the Terms of Service
  • the sound pack does not include third-party content
  • the sound pack does not redistribute content from the App Library

Content rules

When sharing a sound pack or Feed post, make sure your content follows the Terms of Service and does not include inappropriate, offensive, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.

Shareable links

After a sound pack is published in the Feed, the post can be shared by link.

People can open the link even if they do not have the app installed, but they will need Drum Pads 24 to open and use the sound pack.

Why sharing can be useful

Custom sound packs are stored locally on your device. If the app is deleted or you switch devices, or if you delete a sound pack that was never shared, local sound packs may be lost permanently

If you share a sound pack privately by link or publish it to the Feed, it can later be downloaded on another device. This can help you keep access to the sound pack beyond local device storage.

Important note

Sound packs downloaded from the Feed become available locally in the app and can be used in Project Edit Mode.
