Drum Pads 24 lets you create your own custom sound packs in the Project Editor.
Create a new sound pack
- Open the My tab.
- Select Projects.
- Tap Create Sound Pack.
- Enter a name for your sound pack.
Add sounds to your sound pack
After creating the sound pack, you can add sounds in the Project Editor.
You can use:
- sounds from downloaded Feed sound packs
- your Drum Pads 24 recordings
- sounds from local sound packs
- imported audio files from your device or supported cloud storage
Add sounds from other apps
You can also import audio from other apps directly into Drum Pads 24.
For example, if you use the Files app with Google Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud connected, you can:
- Open the audio file in the other app.
- Tap Share.
- Look for Open in Drum Pads 24 or the Drum Pads 24 share option.
- Open it in Drum Pads 24 to add the sound to your custom sound pack.
Please note:
- not all apps support sharing audio to Drum Pads 24
- available sharing options depend on the app and your device
Add a cover image
After you save a sound pack for the first time, you can add a cover image for it.
To add or edit a cover:
- Open the sound packs list from My.
- Tap the ... menu and choose Edit cover.
- Allow access to your photos or image gallery if prompted.
- Choose the image you want to use as the cover.
When sharing a sound pack to the Feed, you may also be able to choose a cover image during the sharing process.
Important note
Save your custom sound pack as early as possible after creating it. After the first manual save, further changes are saved automatically.
