Important things to know
- a free trial automatically turns into a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends
- deleting the app does not cancel the trial
- if you cancel during the trial, you usually keep access until the trial period ends
- once the trial renews into a paid subscription, future billing continues until the subscription is canceled

Cancel the trial before the renewal date in your Apple or Google subscription settings.

- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.

- Tap Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription.

Cancel a free trial on Mac
- Open the App Store.
- Click your name or the sign-in button.
- Click Account Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage.
- Select the subscription.
- Click Cancel Subscription.

If you were already charged
If the trial has already renewed into a paid subscription, billing and refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, depending on where the purchase was made.
