Access to sound packs' audio files depends on the type of sound pack. There are 2 types of sound packs in our apps:
- library sound packs are made by us (Drum Pads 24) or in collaboration with producers.
- custom sound packs are made by users of the Drum Pads 24 app. These sound packs can be made and used in the Drum Pads 24 app only. Our other apps don't support this sound pack type. More about custom sound packs you will find in the article How to create a sound pack.
It's possible to get custom sound packs audio files via a file manager on your device:
- if you have an Android device, all your custom sound packs are located in the [data/android/com.paullipnyagov.drumpads24/files] directory.
- if you have an Apple device, all your custom sound packs can be found via the Files app that is available since iOS 11.0: open the Files app, click Browse -> On my iPad (or iPhone), find the 'Drum Pads 24' directory.
Any other sounds from our apps' library are accessible through the app itself only. It is illegal to extract sounds from apps and use them outside apps.
